Hi all,
I have lurked here for a while. I have been a keen Lotus enthusiast for over 20 years.
I have owned a 70's Elite which I rebuilt (thankless task).
I have owned an 80's Excel (great car once all the Toyota bits went in!).
I currently have an 80's Esprit that I have restored/rebuilt over the last 10 years.
I am now looking to go a bit more modern and am looking for a 2004 Elise 111R.

Hi Alan
You are obviously quite handy with cars and enjoy a challenge
You should post some photos of your handywork.
Where are you based

Hello &
You are obviously a glutton for punishment a 2004 Elise might just be too reliable I mean it will work at least 10 months of the year

When I finally find a suitable Elise it will have to be reliable as it will be replacing my 2003 Impreza WRX which has been pretty reliable since new.

Hi Alan. Some Esprit that, excellent work.
Plenty scrappy old Elises around here needing rebuilds, Tut is usually first in the queue!!

Quality pics Alan - anyone that can keep one of those looking as sweet as your needs a big
Used to have a 111r - great car - Exige though if you want to track it often - probably what I'd do personally if i had the decision again as you can get the kit to take the roof off
