Newbie in Dundee

Post by whaleys » Sun Jan 27, 2008 8:31 pm

Hi Everyone,

Joined the forum a while ago but for some reason my account didnt get verified :( so this was my second attempt and I'm in! :D

I bought a sliver S2 Elise 2002 (51 plate) a few months ago and I live just outside Dundee in a little village called Monikie.

Before I got it I hadn't really seen any going around, then on my first day of having it, I bumped into scott_e in his Exige in Wellbank who pointed me in this direction. They now seem to be dotted everywhere :).

Will definately be asking some stupid questions and already had some trouble.

Driving it back when i got it, i passed a gritter on the motorway not thinking. The car took a fair pounding and now has a load of stone chips on the front, worse still after a few frosty days the water got behind them and some of the lacquer is peeling away . Still its bloody good fun to drive :D.

Monikie's a small place, got friends who's parents still live there.

Think we need an East Coast Massive run one weekend. Aberdeen, Glenshee, Cairn o'Mount Circuit.

It is, the guy that had it before me had upgraded everything other than the engine, to be inline with the Sport 190.
