Not a lotus owner but a newbie

Post by gambler » Thu Feb 28, 2008 4:01 pm

Hi all

My name is scott and im an alcholic...Opps.. wrong place. My name is Scott and im a petrol head.

I drive a red impreza on irish plates with a load of scaffolding in the back. I attend most SIDC days and as many hot marques days as i can. Usually see more loti than subaru's at these days. So i thought i would join up and say hello

Scott,

You are very welcome here. The Scooby community has always been very welcoming of us crazy plastic car drivers too, and of course Scottish Elises and SIDC Scotland go back a long way together!

You owe it to yourself to try an Elise for a while though...very complimentary to an Impreza, if you have room for both!

Thanks for the wellcome guys

Campbell - I scottishscoobies/elises seem to get on well. Good that there is no car snobbery and people get on well for the love of vpower. I will deff have to try an elise/exige sometime. Did consider an exige before i bought my road car, an M3. Could have been a replacement for the road and track car. Unfortunately needed the boot space and thought the exige would be a bit harsh to live with covering 15-20k/year. I will deff have one at some point. Ill have to have someone take me round knockhill in one sometime and show me the darkside!

Mr Momo - The picture was at spa, en-rouge. Have been there and the ring twice now. Planning to go back in october. Absoultely amazing circuit, would reccomend it to anyone
