I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

You seem to have the same radio & sat nav as I do in my Vectra. What do you think of the Vauxhall Sat nav ? Mine seems to be total pants in comparison to a Tomtom.
I was driven around Oulton Park in an Astra VXR by BTCC driver Paul O'Neill. Scary scary stuff but I was surprised how well the car felt on the track

Throttle pedal did feel like a bit of an on/off switch though.
