Scottish Elises

Hi All,

Picked up my Saffron Yellow Elise 111R last Friday from Murray's. Put 230 miles on it last weekend loved every minute!

I've been lurking on a few forums for the past few months trying to find as much info as possible before I finally bit the bullet and bought the Elise, I found SE after searching on SELOC forums.

I've been working in Norway for the last year and a half, I get back to Edinburgh every other weekend, hoping that my job might move back to Scotland soon so I can get a few more miles driving my new toy. It would be great to hear from some other owners in Edinburgh, I stay in Leith.

I've always been into cars and motorsport, one of the biggest reasons I wanted a Lotus is the racing heritage and engineering pedigree of the Lotus name. I will hopefully get to a few races at Knockhill and maybe further afield this year, will hopefully see some other SE members on the roads soon.

Congrats on your new purchase, I bought my first Elise last June and have never looked back and am loving every minute in it.... I'll most likely see you around the burgh enjoying your car.

I'll have to try and get to some of those LoT days this year, they sound like a good weekend, just have to see how my work schedule pans out.
