Another Glasgow newbie

Post by ste7en » Mon Apr 06, 2009 11:00 pm

Hi all,

Been lingering for a while now but finally done my bit to support the economy and the British car industry by purchasing an Elise R. :D

These little cars are totally addictive, it doesn't feel like I'll ever tire of jumping behind the wheel for a quick b-road blast.

Booked in for its after sales service on Friday and can't wait to go for a proper shake down over the easter weekend. In a strictly legal manner of course

Looking forward to the whole ownership experience, track days, weekend road runs and of course meeting fellow users to discuss our addiction.

Later,

Steven :cheers

Welcome to the Group Steven, its always good to see new enthusiastic owners on here.

You will find many of us still feel the same way as you do, I have had mine for ten years but still pull it out of the garage to take it out for a spin around the local roads for no other reason than enjoyment.

Hopefully you will find it gets even better as you meet up fellow enthusiasts, which most of us are on here.

Cheers

My girlfriend doesn't get the whole driving for drivings sake thing.

Hopefully with a little good weather and some roof off runs the penny will drop.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
