just found this forum
,
Based in perth with a gaudy blue S2 (TVR nebular blue) , usually known as 'the gay beach buggy' by my 'not so kind' friends, although im not of that persuasion btw !!!
Had it for a few years now and used mainly for work, travelling over to the west coast up all those glorious twisty roads,and getting paid!!!! i also used it as a recce car for tarmac rallying a couple of times as its a similar outlook to the darrian i use on mull.
Any of you track dayers have prob seen it at few of the dreadnought nights at knockhill

if its taken you that long to find SE, then there must be something worng with the car and you were googling for a fix?

Well actually i was looking for a lotus europa site and tripped over this , the elise is fine, just turned 30k miles and 5 years so the k series got a precautionary HG replacement and cam belt plus the oil ladder upgrade while it was in bits over the winter .
I recently did a part ex with another car and ended up with a 1972 twin cam europa ,stupidly i got all nostalgic and thought it would be great , drove it up and down the road twice and its now on p/heads and ebay
. It might have been awesome 37 years ago compared to cortinas and the like but compared to anything modern like an elise , it basically c**p ,dont get me wrong its a lovely OLD car, but the last thing i need is another quirky dinosaur in the garage
