just found this forum  ,
Based in perth with a gaudy blue S2 (TVR nebular blue) , usually known as 'the gay beach buggy' by my 'not so kind' friends, although im not of that persuasion btw !!!
Had it for a few years now and used mainly for work, travelling over to the west coast up all those glorious twisty roads, and getting paid!!!! i also used it as a recce car for tarmac rallying a couple of times as its a similar outlook to the darrian i use on mull.
Any of you track dayers have prob seen it at few of the dreadnought nights at knockhill

Well actually i was looking for a lotus europa site and tripped over this , the elise is fine, just turned 30k miles and 5 years so the k series got a precautionary HG replacement and cam belt plus the oil ladder upgrade while it was in bits over the winter .
I recently did a part ex with another car and ended up with a 1972 twin cam europa ,stupidly i got all nostalgic and thought it would be great , drove it up and down the road twice and its now on p/heads and ebay :D . It might have been awesome 37 years ago compared to cortinas and the like but compared to anything modern like an elise , it basically c**p ,dont get me wrong its a lovely OLD car, but the last thing i need is another quirky dinosaur in the garage
