Another Newbie
Another Newbie
Hi everyone, i have just gotten myself after years of promising a S1 elise in blue, and i wish i had done it earlier. The car is amazing, the feedback from the car is like nothing i have ever driven. I used to have fast nissan 200sx's that were mainly for trackdays, but this little car destroys them all. Its noisy, has no space for anything, i can hardly get in it and when i attemp to get out it all i get is neds and old women laughing at me, but the smile it puts on my face everytime i drive it more than makes up for it. Awsome.

Welcome to the world of the Elise Danny and Scottish_Elises. Even after ten years or more, the feeling does not wear off.
Sounds like you have a twin of my S1 Azure blue one, is it a standard original car, and what part of Scotland are you from?

ps sounds as if you have a sense of humour which is a useful trait on here.

We have an SIDC trackday at Knockhill on Saturday, 0900-1300 that many of us will be at, so if you can make it come along and meet us and come out for some pax laps.

Cheers Danny.

I might actually scoot through (if the weather's like this) via some back roadage. Need to bond with the old girl again, seems like an age since I went for a proper drive...

Mass

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Hi Danny welcome along ~don't think you can ever eliminate all of the noises squeaks in an S1 ~better just get a louder exhaust
The trick for getting in and out is to almost fold yourself in and getting out put your hand on the back section of the sill/door opening and take youe weight on it and duck /step out ~does get easier with practice
May well see you on Sat
cheers Hamish
