Hi everyone!

I'm Ian, been pointed over here on pistonheads. Picked up my S1 elise last monday, signed up on here now, and will probably be doing some serious reading!
Having swapped from a civic type R I have no regrets at all!
Only a couple photos of it so far, the nose is spattered with mud just now from knockhills car parks on sunday!

Last time that I let you grab hold of anything when we are cornering.

Having seen tut's car on a couple of runs before I would have loved to hang onto the motor and box from the civic, but it'll be a while before that's happening!
Paint isn't immaculate, (the front in particular) though at least I won't worry whenever I get a new chip! Though it has recently had timing belt and head gasket done, a 135hp engine kit and plenty of history.
I'm fairly sure it's de-catted too, as it has fitting and removal on a couple of the old MOT bills, but haven't managed to check yet. Not sure if that might have been part of the engine changes.

The roof leaks, something rattles, and it's definitely the best car I have ever had! :D

Ian, you can just look through the left underside to see whether it has the CAT on or a straight through pipe.
