Yet another Aberdeen Newbie

Post by Jamied9 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 3:48 pm

I've been lurking and reading for a while but since I'm now definately looking for another Lotus, and to spend some time on track next year, I thought I'd introduce myself. I've previously had a 111R but will probably go for an S1 this time so I'll try not to ask too many daft questions!

Cheers,

Jamie

Welcome to Scottish_Elises Jamie, especially as someone who is going from an S2 to an S1, shows impeccable taste.

My theory is that, since I've not done any track driving before, something with less power than I've been used to will make me improve my technique. That and thew fact that I have a really short commute now so don't need as many creature comforts.

I don't suppose anyone knows anything about this car do they.

Thought it might be worth having a look at as not many seem to come up for sale locally.

Nice looking car, wouldn't really have thought that racing green with grey wheels and red interior would work but it does.

Exhaust doesn't look fitted properly.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I stay in Grandholm, so nice and easy for the city centre or the suburbs.

I'm hopefully going to have alook at the Green Elise tomorrow, I've been in a couple but the one thing I'm not sure of is how awkward the roof actually is to get on and off? How do those with S1's find it?
