Newbie - Introductory Sign In

Hi All,

This is my first post as a potential Lotus owner. For those that recognise my nick name I have been a long term poster on ph and have been involved in some of the scottish runs.

After a spell of boxster , m3 and 911 which was a great car with two personalities rolled into one. I have decided to scratch the itch and purchase a lotus. I am currently favouring an exige s/c 220 although am open to advice on the possibilities of a n/a190 and aftermarket bolt on kit. I wish I could say my driving skills live upto the level my car list would suggest but they dont so Im hoping a spell with a more focused car may help this.

im not sure if you guys have a more business network side to the forum but i fabricate granite worktops should anybody ever need any help in this area.

looking forward to meeting some of you at track days etc

Hi,

Thanks for the welcome, Im from just outside Stirling. Have driven a 220 exige and was blown away by it although have to admit I feel a bit woose, I loved every minute of the test drive but immediately decided I would use the works van as my everyday transport as the exige was so focused and intense compared to the C4S. Then, reading the forums and hearing guys saying the 211 was hardcore and that an exige was a tourer comfortable for going to the ring and stuff , its made me realise Ive got a bit of re adjustment coming.

All of the above said Im looking forward to trying a few more and finding the car for me.

cheers

Know how you feel, sold my C4 and bought the Exige. Admittedly I already had an Elise so it wasn't a complete shock but they are two entirely different cars. Now though I wouldn't go back :thumbsup .
