After 4 long years

I joined up to Scottish Elises one day at work in July 06. I had my heart set on an S1 160 (running an MR2 at the time) but knew nothing about them. I attended a few trackdays and got out in a few cars (Still remember paxng with Simon, that was epic in his 111s) and decided that yes, an S1 was for me.
I saved hard and checked the forum everyday to learn as much as I could about the mark. After learning all I could and driving a few S1's and S2's I then went and bought a VX220
Skip forward a few years and after playing with wankles and a rash decision regarding a clio with a stupid engine I picked up my FIRST LOTUS! this morning:

Type 72, 21k miles. I completley love it, it might just be my memory but feels so much more tighter than the VX220 and the damping is spot on, the steering is amazing and it really is a joy and I cant wait to get it on track. Couldn't be more happy with it
I think a gear linkage kit might be in order or I might just need a little time to get used to the shift, either way I'm not wasting any more time typing and heading out for another blat, I have a lot of time to make up for!
Mark.
