Scottish Elises

Hi everyone! Thought Id better introduce myself as a new Elise owner!

Im Mike and have recently purchased an Elise 111R in silver with gloss black alloys! She is beautiful!
Think I got her at just the right time as well with all this nice weather were having. Thankfully I got a hardtop too when things get a bit wet!

Im moving on from a Fiat Coupe 20VT (anyone on here owned or had experiences of them?) and am enjoying every minute of my new toy! Roof off motoring is the way to go. Being able to get round corners is also a huge bonus haha!

Ive had a few waves from other Lotus drivers as well as a silver Clio 172(seen the post in the Was it you? section) and a gunmetal 350Z, that anyone on here?

Anyway, look forward to spotting more of you lot and chipping in here a bit.

Yup that was me in the 172! I won't be in it for much longer though, just until the end of the week when I swap it for my new car! So if you see a crazy woman in a white Mini Cooper, with black roof and stripes waving like a looney, wave back cos that'll be me!!

Glad you're liking your car so much! Check out Tuttowers and Amp3 for runs/trackdays and social events! Most events are planned in meets section of the forum!

It's getting more and more like Locnes (Lotus Owners Club of North East Scotland) every day!! Definately got some Lotus encouragement additives in our water!!

welcome mate, as a relative newbie I can tell you that youve made a good choice.

Everybody has been really welcoming, make sure you get out on a run or social do, everybody will make it easy for you to fit in and you will definately be glad you made the effort.

Already got my first proper road trip planned, heading up to Isle of Skye in a week or so, time to start planning which roads to visit. Im sure you all must have some recommendation? I suppose that should be in a new thread though?
