Scottish Elises

Hi

Just discovered the forum - good reading! I have an 1999 T reg Azure Blue S1. Bought from Roseisle Dalkeith last October but spent its life down south (serviced by Kelvedon).

Very happy with it (now has clonking rear suspension when hot - ball joints?) and try and drive it even in winter.

Are there any decent independents up here for servicing or is it MMC every time?

Also have a 1968 Europa S2 which gets out VERY rarely (new chassis and R16 1565cc engine but body rather iffy).

I wave to any Elises I see, so you may have seen me - I stay in Linlithgow and commute to central Edinburgh and also to Morningside.

I'm also in Linlithgow, although technically not a Lotus owner (black VXT). Will keep an eye out for either Lotus about the town
