Hey - Just though I'd say "Hi Ya" after seeing one of your car's on the lecht road yesterday - looked stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was suprised at how slow it was though - are they all like that?????

I let the car past expecting it to disappear - but it didn't. Kinda spoilt my enjoyment of the road as I had to coast for most of it. Ok i'm in a front wheel drive car but it is only a 106 when all is said and done. I had actually hoped that the driver might have realised he was slowing me up and moved over but didn't.

I'm sure there are more powerful elise and exiges here and hope to meet up with some of you in the near future. I'd love to get one, but wouldn't want a slow one.

Till next time

Pugpower

PS: T3 EGO - move over next time please :!:

He was maybe transporting Matilda...

In any event, if a car is holding you up, there's always the possibility of overtaking it :P Her Majesty's highways aren't operated like trackdays, no-one gets penalised for holding people up and you're free to drive at whatever speed you like* :)

*Subject of course to speed limits and prevailling weather conditions.

I followed a wee Pug 106 in on the B9119 once and although holding me up a bit I couldn't safely overtake.

(OK, I was running it in at the time)

Pug 106 not to be underestimated on a twisty road though, esp. if it's not dry etc. Maybe Gareth was NSL on the straights but slow on the corners? ;)
Anyone modify his signature replacing Simon with a Pug? ;) :D

Didn't mean to make anyone look stupid. Perhaps they were just taking it easy - didn't look like it though as the car seem quite wiggly at times.

I know that road quite well which helps - but I still think any half decent driver in an elise would have outrun my 1.2 106.
