Hi,

Just bought a new S (Graphite Grey + Hardtop). Picking it up end September and am ecstatic/nervous in equal measure at the thought of a)having spent a shed load of money and b)moving from my current car (golf gttdi) to this rocketship!

Looking forward to meeting up with you folks, benefiting form your experience/wisdom and hopefully contributing if and when I can.

Cheers
Craig

thanks paul.

aw, man i am counting the hours... at the risk of tainting my reputation before meeting any of you... i have a countdown on my PC at work, i'm dreaming about the car on a regular basis, and generally can't concentrate on much else.

...no one's really noticed the difference tho

And don't do donnuts in gravel car parks as it will smash your numberplate and fill the undertrays with gravel

The first time the back steps out you will sh*t yourself but stay calm if you can and reel it back in. It'll come.

Beware of lifting-off mid bend, keep the car nice and balanced thoughout and you'll do fine. You will run out of skill long before the car runs out of performance so drive to your limits! (To begin with!)

Enjoy!

I pity you and envy you in equal measures! Wish I could relive that first ownership feeling, but I could never put up with that wait!

You'll love it mate, and before she arrives, whet your appetite by coming along to the next KH event to say hello :)
