Newbie on this forum - Elise S1 111S

Post by maxouhouhou » Tue Dec 20, 2011 3:17 pm

Hi there!
I just signed up on the forum and I want to introduce myself.
I bought an Elise MK1 three years ago and I am now looking for an Exige S (220 bhp).
I am 28 years old and live in Brussels.
My Elise is full stock except the exhaust and the induction (Christopher Neill and Hurricane) which makes the car very noisy :-)
See you soon!

Also had an Mk1 Elise 111S as my first Lotus (and still miss it  ). Mine had a de-cat and an Exige 3.5" pipe which generated lots of lovely pops/cackles. Was probably heard miles away!!

:welcome to the forum and sure you will enjoy the Scottish Elise's, so much friendlier than other Lotus forums.

:welcome Keep the S1. S2 Exiges are for girls
Would say something about an S1 being a real drivers car but I couldn't drive for toffee in S1 or my old S2 Exige.

Maxime

Glad you have found your way here. :thumbsup

S2 exiges are cool but try and work a deal to also keep your 111S. Safer than Euro in a bank account :D

Maxime's wee brother bought my (Simon's) elise

:cheers

Thanks a lot for your welcome!

Stewart, you make me laugh with this sentence. This is so true! :D . That's why I'm consider to buy an Exige with a friend of mine.
My friend loves the cars especially the Lotus. He has the same way of live with cars and has a garage to park it. I don't have space enough in mine because my S1 sleeps in it.
Owning an Exige S in Belgium is so expensive in Belgium that we need to biuld a compagny in the UK or in the Luxembourg. We will have the time to dream about this new car!
If you have advices to give about the way of building a compagny in the UK, I would be happy to read you.

Thanks again for your sympathy. I hope to learn many things on this forum before buying our car.

Maxime

PS : here are some pictures of my 111S.
