Well when I showed it to a female friend she advised me to "be careful as a car like that will get your pregnant"

Welcome!

Bad luck with the theiving scumbags :(

I have been a Lizzy owner now for a year and haven't looked back. Even the girlfriend likes it*
Also you could not ask for a friendlier and more helpful bunch of like-minded types, always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, flog you stuff or date your sister

Which Lizzy were you considering?

I've only had mine for under 4 weeks, but I still can't get the grin off my face. It turns a pleasurable drive on country roads into one of the most fun experiences in your life. Even though it's made me skint, buying my Elise was one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Ditto Sanjoy's comments . . . the ladies love it! (the car ;)) Also had people taking photos of the car!

..won't have my elise till end of next month, but can only reiterate comments above re what a friendly buch these guys are, having met some of them for the first time on saturday.

my wife hated the elise until she got behind the wheel for a test drive - i've never seen a bigger grin before or since  ...

you will never look back once you get one. Mac and I loved ours so much that we bought another one for me which I now use every day.

They are fabulous cars and the buzz you get driving them is awesome.

Welcome to the group.

You have a sister?

Oh, welcome along mate - sh!tter about the car, scumbags the lot o them :(

Common practise to just wander up to Elise owners in the pitlane and blag pax rides - once you've seen what one can do, you'll have to have one no matter what.... 8)

Oh, and thinfourth's comment about them being very different from a 7 holds true - although I have no idea what he'd know about a 'sorted' 7.....
