Scottish Elises

Picking up my S2 111R on May 1st and it seems really far away,like being a kid at Xmas!!
It was a choice between 911 and Lotus and eventually chose Lotus for various practical reasons....had a TVR previously and wanted a car that (hopefully) wouldn't throw up any big bills and would be reasonable on fuel so I could use it more.
911 is kinda iconic and may own one in the future but for now I'm very happy with my "new" car,looking forward to some good runs in the "summer"

Probably the first time I've heard someone say they chose a Lotus for practical reasons.

Wouldn't say I chose the Elise for strictly practical reasons but I would hope it's reliable and I'll certainly put a few miles on it during the "summer"
Unfortunately can't go to Jim Clark event in May as doing the Kiltwalk in Edinburgh on the Sunday and need the rest before & after!!
Don't have any spare weekends in May.

Elise is Saffron Yellow I think,can't remember but definitely YELLOW
