New Owner, bit different to the Impreza!

Post by Dark » Mon Sep 30, 2013 10:06 am

After 12 years chasing you guys around Knockhill and the far reaches of Scotland I've finally scratched the itch, bitten the bullet and bought myself an Elise!

It's so different to driving the Impreza I don't really know where to start! Probably a good job that I've bought a standard 2007 Elise S in which to re-learn how to drive!

Thanks to Campbell for all the advice and showing me how to drive it! :)

Hopefully see you out on a run sometime soon, I'll be at the back! ;)

Congratulations and welcome to the Dark side (see what I did there  ) enjoy your new wheels, you'll soon get used to it but you're right to a certain extent you do need to unlearn and start again, that's all part of the fun :cheers

Good to see that you did get one in the end.

For those of you that have been to Tut Towers events, Mark was a regular, came to at least four in his blue Scooby, and is a good friend of John Stewart.

Delighted to support you in the switchover, Mark. It's been a long and winding road. And now that is just what you need to learn the new jalopy :-)

I also was mightily impressed with the 134bhp S. Very closely matched to the original 118bhp S1, I reckon. 20 more bhp with associated torque and revvy top end and that would be an awesome package of an all round Elise. You should have a word with Rog at Sabre Heads. Once you have learned to enjoy it first, naturally...

Welcome to a whole new world of adventure. Rumours of midlife crisis are clearly much exaggerated...

it's in great condition Mark. Looked good tonight. We'll need to get a wee run out up Glendevon sometime soon! And not on the bikes this time.
