Build date secured today
Hi All,
Some 15 years after initially considering one I've finally pulled the trigger on an Elise.
I've got my Boxster to move on (which breaks my heart) but really looking forward to finally owning a Lotus.
Unlike my cousin (ChrisG on here) it'll not be a Exige V6 but a 1.6 Elise, in red with touring and sport plus the black option.
Hopefully getting down the the factory to get a drive in a 1.6 as Brandon only has the 1.8s there for us to try.
I have plenty questions but I'll leave them for other threads.
Cheers,
Paul.

Good to see someone coming from a Porsche instead of going too.

I think the 1.6 is underrated by a lot of people and is a great wee package, cheap to run too, look forward to seeing pictures when you get it.

Sounds lovely, will you get to visit it at the factory?

I sometimes think the lesser powered cars are more fun because you feel like you're having to drive them more. It'll be great fun.
Enjoy and
Enjoy and

Around about that area right enough.
In Blair quite often.

I recognised the plate on the Boxter. If you've had that plate for 15+ years, then I suspect we used to work at Tesco in Blair together.
