Prospective new member having trouble registering

I wonder if an admin person can help.

Someone I know from another site is having trouble registering on SE.

I understand that the username he selected is "cardo".

He’s considering purchase of an S1 Elise and would like to ask some questions.

I’m sure he’d be grateful for some assistance with the registration.

Thanks. :)

Thanks for the welcome guys.
I have wanted an Elise S1 since the first ones rolled out of the factory but never had the money or a suitable space to look after one.
However,i've got a bit of cash saved and now have a reasonable garage/workshop at home so would like to start seriously looking for a decent car.
I've read all the articles under the sun but to date have never had the pleasure of sitting in one never mind driving one!
I plan to get myself to some of the dealers to gauge what's available within price range I'm thinking of and hopefully get a chance to compare a few cars from the driving seat to give me an idea of what a good one should be like.
I will no doubt be asking some stupid questions in the near future....
Cheers
Richy

Ask away! Better ask the stupid questions now, than buy the wrong car!

Where are you based?

There are a few of us on here with S1s who would be happy to give you a closer look, and some advice. Where are you located?

The S1 will be few and far between in dealerships too, so certainly do consider buying privately.

Chris

Hi Richy, sorry, completely over looked your email! You're welcome back to mine for a run in the 160 if you wish?

You are welcome to pop round and have a pax in my S1 in that case - I'm on the North of Glasgow, just off Junc2 of the M80 :thumbsup
