Possible new Aberdeenshire owner
Possible new Aberdeenshire owner
Hi there
I'm just around here with the possibility of looking into buying an S2 Elise.I'm just doing my homework at the moment with the chance of getting some valuable advice from here.
My current toy is a Toniq R900 bike engined kit car, which is currently up for sale to make room for something else.

Hi, and welcome to Scottish_Elises, always good to see new members on here.
Firstly are you moving to Aberdeenshire and buying one here or taking it abroad, and are you here at present? Loads of cars around here covering the whole of the Lotus Elise/Exige range, from standard S2 K engines with 118hp upto S/C Honda ones like my own with 350hp, and all the rest in between. No problem if you want to look or drive any if you have not done so before, you will get plenty of offers when this lazy lot wake up.
Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome
Tut I've spoken to you a few times at the fennel and various other places but you'll probably not recognise me from here.
I was hoping to get a look round as much different various types as possible to make a proper educated decision, so if there's anybody around the Inverurie area who would let me have a look around their car and hopefully let me know of anything that needs to be known, I would be massively appreciative.

I'm thinking around the 10-12k mark but could push a little further but it's only a car I would be using a few times a month and possibly the odd track day at Knockhill.C7Steve wrote:Budget???

Yep, just put two and two together and we have met a few times, last time your car was parked at the front door. We started off on a run together but got split up. Did not recognize the Dutch sign on name though.van cleef wrote:Thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome.
I live in Aberdeen and have a standard K series 118bhp S2. It was purchased about 3 months ago for roughly the same money as what you have budgeted. I am more than happy for you to have a look.
Happy shopping.
