I'm pretty scared of jacking it up and breaking it so I am tempted to get a low entry one. This looks like a good deal at £83 inc the VAT- anyone got one?

As long as you don't jack it on the bodywork (plastic sill) and find the wee round sticker on the underside on the aluminium to jack it, you should be fine.

:withstupid
Stickers are often worn off but if you gently tap 2 or 3inches in and forward of the rear wheels you will find the crossmember (where it will have been) by sound and jacking there will lift the whole side if you go high enough. Don't be tempted to go for any of the suspension points or control arms.

Wow - so nice,

those wheels really do it for me, best S1 colour IMO and the wheels just make it!

Hi Chris, car looks great!! I was at a clients house a few weeks back and she said her son had moved away and was wanting a Lotus.. Does your mum have an MX5 and is getting some structural work done on her house? Cutting down a window to create doors? If so, small world! :thumbsup

That looks excellent, my favourite colour.

Costco have some low entry jacks at the moment, about 80 quid I think...
