Hello everyone. I am the proud new owner of a grey S2 111R that I collected from Jon Seals last Sunday. After many performance cars this is the first time I have gone for something so focuses - I love it! Looking forward to taking it out this weekend when the sun shines to get it detailed! The only pics I have are from the advert - wrong time of year to buy an Elise!
James.

No wrong time of year to buy an Elise! Just upgraded my 111S to a Cup and out in the last week's weather bedding in new brake pads on semi-slicks...interesting experience, but still alive!

Weather? Pah.
Enjoy the 111R! Looks great!

From a financial POV, it's a good time to buy,.... from an enjoyment POV, maybe less so

Financial is the precise reason I bought now. Think I got a bit of a bargain really.
I have to say the rain made it very engaging as I had to stay so focused. The rear stepped out on a long left hand bend in 5th but it was very controllable. The car is on AD07s.

Eek. If my car stepped out on a long bend in 5th I'm not sure I'd be here to tell the tale!! Well held.
And welcome along, James. Here's to many miles of fun. And hours spent in front of this forum
