Hi from the Scottish Borders

Post by Chunk » Fri Aug 05, 2016 3:21 pm

Hi all, I got hold of my 1st lotus last September after a walk around them at the jim Clark lotus weekend. After a visit to see Brandon at Murrays an order went in for a 20th anniversary Elise. What a car!!!

Haven't had the chance to drive it as much as I would like due to other commitments but it's been fantastic in all situations.

Have had a look around and looks like a great forum to be part of

Welcome along,

I normally stop off in the borders and stay with the in-laws the night before a Knockhill trackday. Some amazing roads in that part of the country :)

Welcome, awesome car you got!

Where in the borders? I'm from Duns originally, in fact I knew a guy at school there whose nickname was Chunk...?

Haha.

So long ago I can't remember your name, but I definitely remember somebody called Chunk! Were you in the ATC by any chance?

My name is Iain, lived down in Trinity Park (where my folks still live). I left in 97 when I went to uni up in Aberdeen and, apart from a year at Sellafield and a year in Dublin, have lived in Aberdeen/shire since.
