Hi all, just joined the site tonight having heard about it from a friend.

Loving the site so far.

I've only had my elise for 4 weeks but loving it and at the moment it's my every day car and driving to work and back every day is a joy!! :D - even though the route itself isn't very exciting. :(

It's a British racing green (or Lotus racing green as the original invoice says) 2000 S1 with black roof and beige leather seats and it looks stunning.

Very happy with it and roll on next summer so I can hopefully enjoy some proper roof down driving!! :D

I'm in Edinburgh - bought my car from arnold clark rather than the lotus dealership at sighthill.

I can confirm that peugeot mechanics know nothing about lotus' (well....the ones who replaced the timing belt on my car anyway!!) :D

They replaced the timing belt for me as part of the purchase but didn't re-attach the alternator properly and it was back with them after about 10 dys of ownership - very annoying!!![/img]

I'm sorry to say I'm very slow when it comes to computers and just tried adding a photo of the car to my profile but because the file size was too large - it wouldn't let me add it.

Any suggestions?

Cheers for the messages guys and for the photo re-sizing tip Kenny.

If I can actually stop being a total muppet  and work out the re-sizing stuff i'll get some pictures on.

It was indeed the one at AC peugeot down at seafield. Safe to say I'll never buy from AC again!!! :D

If you just want to upload some pictures, go to http://www.photobucket.com create a new account there and upload your pics. You can then link them here. Once you've done that, I can take one of them and convert it into an avatar for your profile if you want.
