Hi All,

Not sure how this will be received but thought I would join up. I’m in the process of moving from the West Midlands to Stirling and bringing with me my VX220 probably looking to get it on track for the first time next year so thought I would try and make some friends Image.

Hello and :welcome

You have come to the right place if you’re looking to make friends. Keep an eye out for the SIDC trackdays next year at Knockhill with the first one usually in the springtime. There are a few of us on here who like going on track, so come along, introduce yourself and hopefully you will have a good time. Also have a look on the calendar for other events and other trackdays too.

Steve.

I think the strapline used to say "You don't have to be Scottish or own an Elise", so welcome along.

Welcome along! Plenty of other VX owners on here - all welcome.

Keep an eye on the meets section of the forum for upcoming events.

Your VX looks very clean.

Thanks everyone, if it helps I am Scottish and returning :D .

I left Scotland to work for JLR Core Engineering then worked for JLR SVO on cars like Project 8 currently a senior engineer at Aston Martin.

I Supercharged the VX220 this year and can't wait to get a go round Knockhill been a few years since I set foot on the track.

Lovely looking car...
Are you by any chance returning to build a new supercar in Scotland?

Haston Martin has a nice ring to it.....

Lovely looking car, but then I’m a bit biased 😜

Is it an LY?

The guy that bought my LY (no 99) also worked for Aston Martin, Richard Geden his name was, although that was 10years ago so there’s a good chance he’s not there any more.
