New Boy

Post by Ron » Wed Nov 01, 2006 3:58 pm

Evening all.

I've already posted a couple of messages today and everyone has been super helpful but i just thought i'd formally say hello. My name's Kieron (Ron) and i bought my 2002 EliseS in a private sale a month ago. I was a ball hair away from buying a Mark IV Golf GTI Turbo but after driving a mates S1 and another mates 360 i realised that driving should be fun. Now whenever i drive a 'normal' car i don't like it one bit. Circumstances do change but i think i'm hooked and i'm already dreaming about my first 111R.

Anyway thanks for all the help so far. Much appreciated.

Welcome along.

I remember seeing your car in Edinburgh one day (before you bought it though). Looked nice with the 111r wheels.

Cheers jkelly,

360 was awesome. I was amazed he let me have a shot and i was bricking it because they're a tad more expensive to fix than mine. But it's surprisingly easy to drive and feels very smooth. It had the f1 paddle shift which is brilliant at pace but a bit of a mare going through town till you get used to it. It handles brilliantly and there is soooo much power to play with. That said i still feel the elise stick to the road just as well but i run out of bhp on the straights when the 360 just keeps on accelerating. Very comfortable to and nae rattles. I like my rattles though, especially going over cobbles.
