I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I met Tut and IDW (Zippy) on the OLC (official Lotus Club) forum just before TT2001. Tut & Zippy put me on to SE1 although due to problems with my firewall I only started to get the info on the weekend of said TT.

Met some great folk in the intervening years most of whom I'm honour to call friends. Right from the start I was introduced into the SE way of working, where time, advice and assistance was offered freely. IIRC my first taste of this was from Robin who helped my change my brake fluid before my first track day event.

Heard about scottish Elises when I was trying to buy my car. Spent about 15 mins chatting to a guy about elises on the phone, even though his car had been sold. Cant recall his name but he pointed me to the site...

I actually had the lotus a while before i found SE, i was getting bored of not actually doing stuff with it, a mate from work told me to find a forum, i didnt fancy the idea of 'forums' eventually did it, googles 'scotland' and 'elise' or 'lotus' or something and found SE.. never looked back, cant manage to not look at it for more than a week, even a year after selling the car!
