think found source Oil leak? *whats this bit?*

check for split boots/housing of the cables - could be grease inside (to aid shifting) thats flying out with the heat... maybe...

main shaft seal means gearbox off, flywheel off, change seal, reverse - not something to wish for! do people generally stick with the standard flywheel on the rover engines?

I have a lightweight only as it was free with the CR box, god knows what difference it makes
