Autoglass just been and sorted mine from weekend. £81.00 inc VAT to the insurance. Guy says 'Oh in the warmer weather they crack when being repaired  ' Sorted you can still see a wee mark but a bit less painless than £1.5k to MMC :!:

I had a chip around the size of a 1p coin in the middle of my screen (happened within 2 days of buying the car) and I finally got it sorted on Sunday.

There was a company in a Morrisons car park offering 'free' repair at the weekend. I noticed them as I was passing, stopped and spoke to the guy, he said that I needed to give him my insurance details, I could not be arsed going to get them, offered him £20 cash and it's now sorted

Awright Neil, between being stupidly busy with work and my girlfriend moving in with me last month, I have had bugger all time to be on here never mind drive my car

oh, that and the fact it was broken for three weeks and did not have a minute to get her fixed. Although I did finally get the fault 'fixed' a couple of weeks ago it happened again on Monday (the same old ECU/throttle issue I keep having since I bought her)

Took her straight to MMC and this time Graeme asked me to leave it with them for a few days and he was good enough to give me their demonstrator Elise S until mine is sorted :D

only problem, apart from it being red, is that my girlfriend now likes the 'normal' exhaust that is on it

She is off to France for 5 weeks on the 25th so I will no doubt be annoying you for many an evening drive then :D

Scott, I had a decent sized chip in the exige screen repaired by Autoglass on thursday. Very impressive. Took about 10-15 mins and you would struggle to see the mark without looking closely. Give the DUndee office a call on 201787 and see if you can just pop in and get it done. You will need your insurance certificate to get it done free.
