Missfire at low throttle openings...??

could it be the plugs or dis cap? or is it more likely some sensor on the way out..

one big bang after rolling up to a roundabout in gear....



would the IACV thingy cyling cause this or is it even possible?

Also it's possible that the TPS is out of kilter so ECU doesn't know your opening the throttle.

Fitted TPS from old pllastic TB. Seems to have done the trick. Still not sure about my new air filter set up

nope, didnt bother with the sock... had problems with alignment... :oops:

So other than socks and sieves, have you fixed the misfire? :roll:

So far it seams fine... it only appeared after a long road run. It idles fine now and there isnt the weird nose drop effect when I come off the throttle. so I think its ok now.

Will find out at knockers.

After a sustained hammering last night, this can now be considered to be sorted....

TPS changed, fault gone.. where would we be without the Jedi Master.. thanks again :thumbsup
