last night i drove over a huge puddle (probably about 20 cms deep) and ever since i have been having problems with the alarm system. immobiliser seems to be working, but everytime i look the car, the alarm goes ON. any idea what could have gone wrong? the alarm system is the standard 'cobra' which came with the car.
the driving over the water probably has nothing to do with it, but i dont see another reason. it worked fine for the last one year.

You mean it just starts to sound the klaxon or just that it makes a constant beeeeep at you? Probably dislodged one of the boot/door/bonnet open sensors ....
