I know it's not exactly major, but since TT my drivers seat ('04 S2) has developed the loudest, and most constant bloody squeaking I have ever heard.
At first I thought it was a loose rail bolt, but it seems not. Worse at the off-side. Obviously there is a bit of play in the seat compared to the pax side due to the rail mounting, but it does seem to be the actual bucket moving more when I put pressure on the back, almost as if it has cracked near where the back meets the base.
Any thoughts, or do I just need a louder exhaust? People have commented they can tell when I'm coming just by the squeaking

There is an Allen key screw on the bracket which supports the back on each side , make sure they are tight.

I have just been cleaning my seat and found more loose screws

The two allen key screws that hold the forward cross beams were loose which may have started the initial movement to slacken the rear ones.

Update....just hauled the seat out, and glad I didn't ignore the noise...WTF the bracket has somehow sheared at the base
Wouldn't like to test that in a crash situation.
How on earth that happened I can't figure- never been horsed about and I'm no heavyweight

I would send that to Lotus to alert them and expect at least a warranty fix (even if out of warranty).
