Couple of weeks, maybe a month. Not so much the WMD, just that I tend to nip them up with a breaker bar (not heaving down on it, before you  at me) when I'm in a rush and can't be arsed finding the torque wrench.

I shall now always be arsed... Taking it as a warning

Would actually have bought from MMC, as the price wasn't bad - just that Lotus (as in, at Hethel) only have 7....

I have a great old Austin Rover dealer (now independant used stuff) at the other end of Prestwick - will be paying them a visit on Monday. :thumbsup

Not sure I'd use used ones . . . the way they crush fit the splines on the end of the stud into the hub . . . in my mind makes them non reusable . . . of course in a 'no option' situation you have no option . . . in that case I'd make sure I stud locked them in (the real deal strength stuff, not threadlock) . . .

I have a few caterham studs kicking around and from the back of my memory they are the same - I'll have a look . ..

or batter the splines with a punch before fitting.
