.. another S2 rattly window sufferer - drives me mental- also found that when putting (leccy) window back up it stops about an inch short of the roof, only way to get it to go up properly is to open the door and then put the window up - fine if your stopped but bit risky on the M74 when the rain starts !! Lotus - don't you just luv em!!

HMM so know easy fix then. It didnt used to do it mine so why now???? Me thinks a call to MMC is on the cards.

Mine never used to rattle either - post accident repair its noisier than a marching band rehearsing on a tin roof. I have e- mailed MMC to see if they can/will do anything about it - heres hoping . Keith

My driver's side window is exactly the same. Called MMC about it and the service hand told me a screw sometimes comes loose. I am just to pop in and he'll get a technition 2 look at it for me.

Gonna do that soon so ill let u know if its an easy fix!!

Noops,

I've got a fallen-out window too... shaken loose by lumpy 160 idle no doubt!

I've got the correct glue from permabond for sticking the glass to the clips, but can you give any advice on how to do it?

Did you do it in place with small hands or take the whole thing out? How the hell do you get the window back in with the clips on? Take the rubbers seals off the top of the door?

Didn't want to remove the rubbers if there was another way as I don't want the bodged, broken-into look. I guess it's gotta be done...
