Is this meant to be in the car?
I was sure the dealer said there was tyre foam in the car incase of a puncture or am I dreaming?

It should be in the boot above the offside wheel. Stick your head in the boot and have a look around.

Yep, Si is right should be in the boot. Personally i wouldnt use it means theres zero chance of a repair. However if you are a recent RAC customer then they will not tow you if you dont have a serviceable spare tyre!

Got AA cover with the car 2 year breakdown cover etc I think.
Salesman did say they will tow me.
