Front Clam modifications.. Wheel arches..??

Since I changed to Toyo's the fronts have started to rub and chew the arches. The front ride height is meant to be 100mm but it looks less. Its the SteveB 100/110 kit, fixed ride height.

Whats the best way to take off a bit of the lip under the arch? I could just get medieval with a grinder but one slip and your through the arch..

Minor repair to the cracked bits of the lip? A little cataloy? then just leave it dirty so you dont see it?
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

You can take a grinder (of the die, not angle variety) to the inside to thin out the flat lip on the face of the arch. TBH, is more of a bodyshop job, as you're likely to need to touch up the paint (the gel coat will flake, I'd bet) Depends how pristine you want it.

Both arches are shredded already, the Gel coat is cracked on both sides. The nose of the clam needs a respray and there is some damage to the clam underneath where I hit someones exhaust on the dual caraigway.
just wanted to tidy things up a bit...

Clamshell..? disposible items aint they?

Just don't go radio rental on it and it'll be fine - only worry would be mullering it and getting cracks propagating.

I would look at taking it off and then building up a reinforcement lip in glass fibre on the inside then cut back to that. It will stop the cracks from spreading. Even better get a clam with some damage already and have a go.
