S1 Tyres
Hi, I'm GregR, you may remember me from such threads as, "S2 Suspension - £50"; and "c/r box for £150."...
However, I aplashed the 400-odd notes on Advans when my tyres were spent last November. I weighed up the pros and cons of ending up in a field by mixing and matching my tyres and thought it was the cheaper option. Not worth scrimping on them, they're the only thing that translates input to the road - not worth getting that wrong IMO

OK, OK!!
As you probably worked out from the question I knew the answer. I just object to the idea of spending as much on a set of tyres as I have previously done on a car.
As "lets build myself a Lotus out of scrap man" other wise known as GregR will tell you, people in our line of work have to watch the pennies.
Thanks all.
Minimum wage (by the time you take the massive unpaid overtime into account) faction.
