Back panel removal

Post by delands » Thu Aug 30, 2007 10:01 am

Are there only the 4 or so screws between the 2 speakers for removal?
I have an exremely annoying noise rattling/ tizzing when on the move (can also be heard slightly when at idle) and I think it comes from underneath.

Yup. The screws are plastic and come loose so it may be them rattling anyway- be prepared to break some when you remove. You'll need to get the passenger seat out to do it, but the driver's side can stay in if you move it all the way forward.

Also, try getting some dynomat in there once you have it off- made a huge difference to mine.
