S1 Exhaust
I finally broke today and decided to put my cat on
- the noise was getting too much for me to take.... sounds sportier now I think instead of just a wwwaaaaaaahhhhhh but is still far from standard sounding. One thing that I noticed was that the manifold seems to be a 4 branch ??? Does anyone know if this is a standard fit on the K-series or am I just imagining things ???

Re: S1 Exhaust
Dont think you have a std exhaust then, could be a janspeed or maybe some one off.Matelotman wrote:I finally broke today and decided to put my cat on- the noise was getting too much for me to take.... sounds sportier now I think instead of just a wwwaaaaaaahhhhhh but is still far from standard sounding. The std exhaust has a flange part way down near the rear bulkhead.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Aye, there is a flange but the 4 pipes seem to merge just above it rather than at the top end... as I said, I might be imagining it - I'm new to all this engine at the back melarky. The exhaust is still louder than standard but the box has no markings. The main thing is that I can hear again.
