Funny, I caught an episode of Mythbusters recently where they were hoping to prove or otherwise that your tonuge would stick to a metal pole if it was frosty ala Dumber & Dumber.
Turns out it is true!

They used the tongue from a dead pig.

mouth over lock is my fave, works soooo well, cup your hands and blow...

also you can carry a fag lighter and heat your key and put it in hold it there for few secs for heat to radiate and conduct. about three attempts it just goes in. once its in though you usualy need another blast as it often freezes open and you cant shut the door!
