Dipped beams stopped working on me tonight...
Side lights come on with the side light switch.
Side lights only come on with the dip beam switch.
With the dip beam switch pressed in the main beams will come on when you flash them and also when you select them by pushing the stalk forward.
But no dipped beam..
I have had a quick look at the circuit drawing and the DIP BEAM RELAY looks like a possible culprit, or possible a fault with the DIP SWITCH not energising the coil on the dip beam relay...?
Any expert advice or prior experiance would be much appreciated

Check the connectors to the back of the lamps? Mine melted and gave some issues.

I have done a continuity check and there is a break somewhere from the outlet of the relay to the earthing point. i.e. on the full beam relay base I get a circuit (not quite 0 ohms as it has the bulb elements to go through, but on the dip bean relay base I get no connection.
So either both bulbs have blown on the dip side only (not likely) or the break is after they combine between the bulb holders and the common earth point.
Not knowing where the wiring run is phsicaly, only seen the diagram so far, could this end up being a clam off job to get at the bits or are the two front arches out and or undertray going to be enough for access.?

Why not check the bulbs first before ripping out clams etc.

Will do mate, but I dont think both sides would blow at the same time..

tested that and I have voltage to the coil ok, i.e. I can here it switching. I also have voltage to one side of the relay. I swapped the relays over between the horn and the side lights and the horn worked fine so the relay is ok.
I have a continuity on the circuit on the main beam base to battery earth but on the dip beam base to battery earth there is no continuity. So pretty sure the problem is between the relay base and the earth. Obviously if both bulbs were blown on that filament only that would give the same fault.... but how likely is it for two bulbs to fail like that at the same time..?

But no dipped beam..
From the symtoms you describe above I would try a new stalk... I had similar symtoms ages ago on a rover sd1 & when I took the stalk appart the contacts for the dips were worn away.
I don't know how the vauxhaul ones work inside but on the ones I've seen the dips connections are on a sort of sector slip ring (so they stay on as you indicate) so these are wearing every time you indicate.
