Brake Fluid date

Post by DJ » Mon Dec 10, 2007 6:50 pm

Had my brake fluid changed last month and just noticed today there is a date stamped on the extra unused container I got back of 31.10.2006.

Hopefully someone will tell me brake fluid is dated in the style of Budweiser beer bottles - i.e. this is a 'born on' date and is not a 'use before' date ...... please ?

I don't think there is a best before date, as long as the bottle is sealed before the change it'll be fine.
