The only damage you can do is connecting the leads up in reverse, so just check and double check that the terminals are the right way around before hooking it up.

Always disconnect the -ve first, +ve second.

Always reconnect the +ve first, the -ve second.

Or risk melting the skin off your hands when you short the tool to the chassis :-)

ps central locking is far more responsive now too
