Powdercoating engine cover top cover

This guy has powdercoated his engine covers , I quite fancy doing mines orange . Whats your views on this , should it be okay with the heat from engine etc.?

They are painted - if you powdercoat plastic it wont go very well, they heat it up to 200deg :D

there is a how to on exiges.com - I never bothered doing mine as its fiddly and not going to make it any faster :D
