Post by Gibby » Wed Apr 05, 2006 9:58 pm

From the minor fettling to the major, engine out stuff, piston replacement, head replacement etc.
prefferably know and reliable engine builder types.

Yeah, I read Shuge engine conversion thread with interest.

But isnt Shug rather busy with his own project right now?
does he have his own garage, (ie professional mechanic) ?
Shug?

Fsck the lot o ya!

No, I'm certainly no pro - just a keen amateur. My engine was originally done by Stu Pollock (Stu160 on here) but I'm not sure what his current situation is with doing engines - his real job (engineering firm) seems to be keeping him more than busy....

Plus the small fact that my engine nearly drove him to drink....

Dreadnaught in Callander have seen a K series or two, built a stormer in the front of Paul Luti's racing Rover 100. Other than that, you're looking at the likes of Falklands and any other personal reccomendations ofthers may have.

This is not a personal recommendation, never used them, just have heard reasonable things and they do know their stuff in conversation....
