I need new pads & discs

Post by Andy D » Thu Feb 21, 2008 5:01 pm

Any suggestions for replacement Brake pad/disc combos on my 135R??, There seems to be a huge choice of combinations and I'm needing to replace the current ones (original factory fit I think) before the SIDC in March.
Yellow S2 135R # 116 - sold - replacement soon....maybe

Stu's disc's with Pagids get my vote.

42's are the best option

14's only if you razz the ass of it on rack all the time

Andy,

Posted a while back that Carbotech are now doing pads for the elise. There was not much take up due to them being an unknown on the elise but if you give "thetyrant" a call I am sure he can help you out.

I now have them on the Evo (Fast Road pad) and they are absolutely great. My elise discs/pads (111R) are standard but now it feels like an 1980 VW Polo's coming to a stop compared to the Evo now.

Details are here:
