Heater Knob

When Out the in the Exige today i went to turn down the heater. I tried turning the knob to cold and it was very stiff and didnt move much any ideas whats wrong with it. (Awaits joke about stiff knobs :lol: )

Its broken. Get another one...

Dunno how the dash comes to bits but it will somehow. The switch is probably off something rubbish like a Citron AX :roll:

Won't be the knob. It'll be the valve/flap on the heater box. Not an easy job to fix but very common.

No, you just have to strip just about everything else out of the front. :roll:

Don't try and force the heater knob round as it will just rip the cable clamp out of the top of the heater box then it'll be properly broken. :mrgreen:

VERY wise words!!! As someone with experience of taking the dash apart, not to mention the heater matrix / heater controls, it'll be money well spent! The pain of learning your lessons 'as you go' with all three jobs, are probably not worth the money saved IMHO :)
